Potential investors are wanted to construct a hotel with commercial and retail facilities in the centre of the city of Utena

viesbutis maketasUtena is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania, having been mentioned in historical sources for the first time in 1261. Utena is often called the capital of eastern Aukštaitija. It is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, rivers, and forests.The tourists have taken a liking to the Utena area, finding here relaxation for the body and the spirit.
In order to create excellent conditions for visitors to get to know Utena and its surroundings, and to satisfy tourists’ cultural, recreational, and other needs, the Administration of the Utena District Municipality invites potential investors to invest in construction of a hotel in the city of Utena. The detailed plan for construction of a commercial building (hotel) has already been approved. A 38-room hotel in which more than 100 visitors could stay has been planned. Commercial facilities for catering and shops have been included in the plan for the future hotel. In addition, plans for facilities for spending free time have been included: a sauna complex and a casino. Customers and visitors will be able to park cars in underground and surface car parks.

 The future hotel will stand in the very centre of the city at the intersection of J. Basanavičiaus and Maironio streets. IMG 0054-240x180will share a border with one of residents’ favourite recreational areas, the City Garden. Nearby, there is Vyžuona Park. Those arriving in Utena by bus will be able to reach the hotel on foot, because the bus station is quite near the future hotel site.
