A brief CV
Born in 1961 in the village of Antalieptė in the Zarasai district.
In 1983, graduated from the Physics Department of the Vilnius Pedagogical Institute (now known as the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences).
From 1983 to 1989, worked as a teacher at the Vyžuonos Secondary School (now known as the Vyžuonos School) and the 4th Secondary School (now known as the Dauniškis Gymnasium).
From 1989 to 1990, worked as a schools inspector in the Education Division of the Utena District.
From 1990 to 1998, director of the Vyžuonos Secondary School.
From 1998 to 2003, representative of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in Utena County.
From 2003 to 2011, deputy director of the Administration of the Utena District Municipality.
Since 2011, adviser to the mayor of the Utena District Municipality.
Represents the Christian Party of Lithuania.
Has a daughter, Edita.
Enjoys reading, fishing, and takes an interest in sport.

Born in 1953 in the village of Žiezdriai in the Tauragnai eldership of the Utena district.
In 1971, graduated from the Tauragnai Secondary School.
In 1974, graduated from the Vilnius Agricultural Accounting Technical School.
In 1983, completed studies at the Lithuanian Agricultural Academy (now known as Aleksandras Stulginskis University), in the speciality of economist-labour organiser.
Work history:
1975-1979: economist at the Lithuanian Agricultural Economic Research Institute.
1979-1985: senior economist of the Žalgiris collective farm in the Ukmergė district.
1985-1991: senior economist of the Kuktiškės collective farm in the Utena district.
1991-1997: chair of the Kuktiškės agrarian reform service.
1997-2007: at the Administration of the Governor of Utena County: deputy director of the Rural Affairs Department, deputy director of the Land Management Department, deputy director of the Regional Development Department.
2007-2011: deputy director of the Administration of the Utena District Municipality.
Since 2011, adviser to the mayor of the Utena District Municipality.
Represents the Labour Party of Lithuania.
Married. Wife Zita is an instructor and the head of apprenticeships and traineeships in the Faculty of Health Care and Social Care at Utena University of Applied Sciences. Children: sons Aurelijus and Paulius.
Lives in the town of Kuktiškės, enjoys fixing up the house, participates in amateur activities.
